What makes this guitar special: A gorgeous Black Beauty that was just recently acquired from the original owner who special ordered it back in '77 with chrome hardware rather than the standard gold. Classic tone & feel - exactly what you'd expect from a Les Paul Custom. Killer sounding humbuckers & sustain that lasts for days. Professionally set up by Cream City Music with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition for its age - various minor nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches & light buckle rash. No cracks, breaks or repairs.
Neck: Slender profile, maple neck with nicely aged, cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Multi-bound headstock with mother of pearl diamond inlays. Chrome Gibson tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in fine working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body with maple cap; multi-bound top & back. Stopbar tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with some pick scratches, but no cracks. Guitar weighs a whopping 11.3 lbs, but is resonant as all get out!
Pickups: Gibson Pat Number humbuckers with chrome covers & black bezels. Bridge - 7.50K ohms; Neck - 7.57K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '77. All electronics & solders are original & in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
