Fashion icon Grace Jones, 74, shows off age-defying figure in a white bodysuit and figure-hugging black gown for sexy New Wolford campaign

Grace Jones showed off her age-defying figure in a high-cut white leotard and black heels as she posed with both hands on her hips for a sexy Wolford campaign.

The 74-year-old model, who is the new face for the luxury lingerie brand, bared plenty of skin for the shot, which received an outpouring of praise from her fans on social media.

Upon coming across the photos on Wolford's Instagram account, many admitted to initially thinking the images were 'throwbacks' since she looks so young.

'Grace Jones laughs at you because this is a shoot for Wolford's Spring 2023 campaign…and she is 74,' one Twitter user marveled.

Another joked: 'Suspecting and really hoping Grace Jones is some kind of eternal being.'

Back in 2017, Jones, who signed to Wilhelmina Modelling Agency at 18, becoming one of the hottest supermodels of the 1970s before launching a successful music and acting career, slammed the modelling industry.

'I'm glad I'm not doing it now,' she told The Guardian. 'I'd probably be dead. Everybody's so skinny. Size zero is like the walking dead. Not sexy at all.'

Explaining that she was an American size 8 (due to her wide shoulders), she continued: 'Now I can't get into model sizes because they're really small.'

The singer first gained recognition as part of the New York City scene during the Studio 54 disco era of the late 1970s.

By the 1980s, she moved to a more new wave sound, drawing inspiration from other genres likes reggae, funk, post-punk and pop music.

Combining with her striking looks and fashionista tendencies, Jones would go on to score Top 40 hits with Private Life, Pull Up The Bumper, I've Seen That Face Before and Slave To The Rhythm.

She also would enjoy success in the 1980s as an actress, starring in such films as Conan the Destroyer (1984) alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and the James Bond film A View to a Kill (1985), with Roger Moore in what would be the fourteenth film in the 007 series.

Over the years and decades, many female artists cited Jones as an inspiration, including the likes of Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Annie Lennox, Lorde and Beyoncé's sister Solange, among others.
