Wet and wonderful: Diane Kruger tries out just showered locks... and still looks gorgeous in a yellow summer dress
While everyone's mother would normally advise only to go out once your hair is dry to avoid catching a cold.
Diane Kruger has decided to ignore such classic advice and was spotted out and about in the Californian sun on Wednesday with wet hair.
The pretty actress, 36, looked stunning regardless - and brightened up the street in a cute white outfit.

With her hair looking wet enough to still be dripping, Diane gave a warm smile as she went about her day.

She wore a cute summer mini dress with a pleated front, short enough for her legs to enjoy the sunshine and with only very fine straps exposing her arms.
The black flecked yellow dress looked bright and breezy as she headed for lunch with a male friend.

She teamed her outfit with a great pair of low boots complete with shining buckles.
And she also carried a reasonably large bag which was black in colour and with a few buckles that appeared to compliment those seen on her shoes.
The actress was out for lunch with her male friend, although her boyfriend of nearly seven years, Joshua Jackson, was not present.

'Without sounding pessimistic, I learned that I don't believe in marriage,' she told Glamour magazine in an interview in January last year.
'I believe in a commitment that you make in your heart. There's no paper that will make you stay. A guy friend of mine said, and it made a lot of sense, that people should get married at the end of the road, not the beginning.'

Diane is just one of a growing number of famous faces favoring the wet look of hair in recent weeks.
Czech model Karolina Kurkova sported a similar look earlier this months, turning heads as she went.
Actress Sharon Stone also opted to keep her hair damp when she shared lunch with Roberto Cavalli on his yacht in Cannes late last month.
And TV babe Cat Deeley has also been a fan of the look, sporting moist locks while out in LA back in February.
