It's over! Y Tu Mama Tambien star Gael García Bernal separates from actress wife Dolores Fonzi
Gael García Bernal and wife Dolores Fonzi are separating after early five years of marriage.
According to a Tuesday report from E! News, a source said that Bernal, 35, has been informing people that he and his 36-year-old actress partner Fonzi had split up.
The insider also claimed that the Y Tu Mamá También actor said he was dividing time between his native Mexico and Argentina, as the El Aura actress lives in the South American country with their children.

The estranged couple share two kids together - five-year-old son Lázaro and daughter Libertad, aged three.
Bernal and Fonzi first met while on set of 2001 drama Vidas Privadas, but the two did not become involved romantically until 2008.
News of the split first came out last week as The Motorcycle Diaries star's mother Patricia broke the news via People en Español.

Bernal famously dated actress Natalie Portman beginning in 2006. The former couple were seen together on multiple occasions including leaving the China Club in Berlin Germany and the 2007 US Open Tennis Championships.
This weekend The Science Of Sleep actor was seen at the Telluride Film Festival in Telluride, Colorado, reportedly without his wedding ring on.
He attended the international film festival for his latest flick titled Rosewater.

As the drama marked the directorial debut for Daily Show host Jon Stewart, the actor even stopped for a snap with Jon as well as friend and frequent collaborator Alejandro González Iñárritu.
Bernal stars as the lead character in the based-on-a-true-story movie centred around a journalist named Maziar Bahari who is detained in Iran for more than 100 days only to be brutally interrogated in prison.
Rosewater aksi stars Shohreh Aghdashloo, Kim Bodnia, Golshifteh Farahani and Dimitri Leonidas. It is slated for release in the US on November 7.
