'Have I slept with over a thousand women? Probably': Simply Red's Mick Hucknall admits he never kept track of romantic conquests
He's dated a string of beautiful women including Catherine Zeta-Jones and Helena Christensen.
And Simply Red frontman and serial womaniser Mick Hucknall says his knack with the ladies was just par for the course of being in one of Britain's biggest bands.
The 54-year-old star - who famously claimed he had sex with up to three women a day during the group's heyday - has confessed he bedded too many women to count over the course of his career because he couldn't resist the 'candy shop' of sexual opportunity available to him.

Quizzed by The Telegraph about whether the rumour about his thousand-plus conquests is true, Mick replied: 'It probably is. I don’t keep count. I’ve no idea, but I would think over a 25-year period that’s probably reasonable to say.'
Despite being a loner at school, where he was mocked for his mop of curly ginger hair, the Holding Back The Years hit-maker had girlfriends before his meteoric rise to fame.
But after forming Simply Red in 1985 he was faced with an unprecedented amount of female interest, which soon led to him battling sex addiction.

'It’s like kids in a candy store. There’s girls chasing you all the time... When you’re 24 you don’t give a toss,' he added.
Mick also enjoyed flings with several high-profile celebrities including actresses Catherine Zeta-Jones and Martine McCutcheon, presenter Ulrika Jonsson, and Danish supermodel Helena Christensen before meeting his wife, Gabriella Wesberry.
Now a happily married man, becoming a father to his daughter Romy in 2007 changed everything.

Simply Red called it a day in two years later and Mick revealed that wanting to watch his little girl grow up played a massive part in the band's split.
'It’s been wonderful,' he enthused.
The group - who sold over 50 million albums and scored three Brit Awards and two Ivor Novellos - are now reforming for a 30th anniversary tour next year.
