After playing Wolverine for nearly two decades in many X-Men movies, Hugh Jackman obviously has a ton of nostalgic memories – memories he's all too happy to share with fans on social media.
The actor's latest Instagram photo shows his hand with some bloody knuckles, with the caption: "The first time I've played #wolverine ... and actually bled. Clearly it's [Ryan Reynolds'] fault."
Jackman and Reynolds only appeared together in the much-maligned X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
The star recently revealed that he almost got fired from his iconic role during the filming of the first X-Men movie, but luckily that wasn't the case.
The role almost was recast in the early years of this decade, when X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn was going to make a trilogy of movies based on Marvel's mutants. He wanted to go with Tom Hardy, who knows a thing or two about playing gruff and angry men.

Daniel Radcliffe has also been linked to the role, although that was more down to fans taking a joke he made a bit too literally.
We can't really see it happening, if we're being honest – but everyone said the same thing about Hugh Jackman back in the day, and look how that turned out.
