Laura Prepon has explained her decreased presence in Orange Is the New Black's second season.

The actress was only seen in four episodes of the Netflix show's second run, despite her character still being involved in a major story arc with Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling).

Prepon recently explained to Us Weekly that scheduling was to blame for her absence last season.

"It sucked because [show creator] Jenji Kohan and I wanted me to be in it more, but with the schedule, it didn't happen. I was so bummed," she said.

The actress also confirmed previous reports that she will be back full-time for Orange Is the New Black's third season.

"I handled [the scheduling problems], so I'm in every [episode] in season three. It is so good," she teased.

Orange Is the New Black returns to Netflix next year.
