Zendaya’s micro bangs made their second big Paris Fashion Week appearance. The actress stepped out again this afternoon for Fendi’s haute couture show, channeling an old Hollywood starlet in a maroon gown. She wore a red lip and cat eye, with her hair styled in an elegant bun. She accessorized with a diamond necklace and earrings:
Zendaya first attended Schiaparelli’s haute couture show on Monday. For that show, she wore an edgy, all-black look. Her boyfriend, Tom Holland, posted two Instagram stories paying tribute to the fashion moment. In one story, a video of Zendaya appearing at the show, he wrote, “This was made for me 😂”
Zendaya’s appearances in Paris this week marks her first big events of the new year; the actress has not attended any award shows. She was notably absent at the Critics’ Choice Awards, despite Holland attending as a nominee.
Zendaya spoke to ELLE last summer about coming to terms with her level of fame—and the attention that comes with it—while shooting her upcoming film The Challengers in spring 2022.
“After the last Spider-Man and the last season of Euphoria, there was a visceral change,” she said of how her fame affects her day-to-day life. “Before, I could get away with going places and getting in and out. But in Boston [that spring], I would end up going right back home, because it was really overstimulating. Everybody would go hang out at a bar or something, and I’d be like, ‘I’d love to, but I think I could ruin everybody’s night. Because it’s just not going to be fun once I’m there.’”
