Post-split with longtime partner Hayden Christensen, Rachel Bilson is starting fresh with a brand new Pasadena pad. She recently bought the grand mid-century mansion for a whopping $3.25 million, according to Trulia, in one of the area's wealthiest neighborhoods, Linda Vista.

In typical California mid-century fashion, the house is a one-level, and although much of it has been remodeled, it still maintains the structure's original charm. Designed by architect Gregory Ain in 1950, it measures in at 3,678-square-feet with six bedrooms, four bathrooms, a resort-style backyard, and spacious family room. The perfect place for her daughter, Briar Rose, to play, the gathering area is outfitted with floor-to-ceiling windows, a fireplace, and refurbished wood floors.

The incredible views and lush property (which encompasses 35,844 square feet) are perhaps the biggest draw. Large sliding glass doors lead to the outdoor living area, which overlooks rolling hills, an open-air courtyard, and nearby mountains. It's the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some California sunshine by the pool.

Before Bilson, a number of other celebrities have called this mansion home. Previous tenants have included Rose McGowan, Busy Philipps, and Ginnifer Goodwin, so there's no question that it gets a celeb seal of approval.
