The process to make a painting takes between 3-4 weeks because we use oil paint. Oil need time to get dry in fresh air as the paint is oil based but sometimes We have overbooking so it takes a little more. If this happens I would send you an email to inform you before starting the work.

Prior to shipping the painting we will send you a digital photo for your approval. This is your chance to suggest any changes and comment the painting.

This has been my favorite painting for several dozen years. I visit the original in the in the National Museum of Art. I talked NamPhuong Art into reproducing it and adding to their collection of offerings. I'm extremely glad they excepted because the final piece I received was SPECTACULAR! Its remarkable how faithfully the artist was able to reproduce original. From the translucence of the wave to the stunningly realistic texture of the foam. The dramatic color transition of the sky from deep blue to indigo ink - the most challenging aspect of the original - is beautifully executed by the art. The craggy rocks are as pretty as they are imposing. Wonderfully rendered reflections of the water draw the eye in and make it swirl with the movement of the surf. This painting wildly exceeded my expectations. The artist is gifted.

I love how this turned out. This is a full sized reproduction. Artist send me photo proofs and I had a couple requests. After that it turned out perfect. There are a number of artists on Etsy that will do this painting, glad I picked this one. Only wish I could post more photos in this review so you can see brush strokes and details. I am going to use them for any other reproductions I have done. (Stretching and framing I had done separately).
