The 29-year-old, who announced at the start of the 2014/15 season that this would be her last in the sport, beat Canadian Chloe Dufour-Lapointe in the final.
Kearney had already wrapped up the moguls crystal globe before coming to the final event of the season, her fifth-straight title, but showed no signs of letting up as she marched into the final with a win over Canada’s Andi Naude.
Chloe Dufour-Lapointe got the better of her sister Justine in the semi-final, but couldn’t upstage Kearney, who took her 46th World Cup victory on her 117th World Cup start.
In the men’s event it was France’s Anthony Benna who came out on top, beating American Thomas Rowley to take his first World Cup win of the season.
Canadian Mikael Kingsbury had wrapped up the overall title prior to competing in France, his fourth globe in the six seasons he has been on the World Cup tour.
But he couldn’t finish the season with a win as he exited at the quarter-final stage to American Bryon Wilson.
