German Anni Friesinger continued her impressive start to the season, picking up another pair of victories at the long-track speed skating World Cup event in Berlin.
She captured the 1000m gold in a time of 1:15.53 seconds less than 48 hours after she had wowed the home fans by winning the 1500m in 1:55.54, beating Ireen Wust of the Netherlands into second on both occasions.
Wust only managed third in the 3000m as compatriot Renate Groenewold won the race in 4:02.44 seconds, her second successive victory over the distance, and the pair were joined by Paulien van Deutekom to record a success in the team pursuit.
But there was more German success in the 500m as Jenny Wolf won both races to move to the top of the overall distance standings.
On Friday, Sven Kramer of Holland took gold in the men's 5000m from countryman Carl Verheijen and Norway's Eskil Ervik in a repeat result of the opening round in Heerenveen last week.
Erben Wennemars won the 1000m and then swiftly joined the aforementioned two Dutchmen to take the pursuit crown.
Wennemars also leads the 1500m World Cup standings but was beaten into second by Olympic champ Enrico Fabris of Italy with another Torino gold medallist Shani Davis down in third.
Kyou-Hyuk Lee of South Korea and Finland's Pekka Koskela took a win apiece in the 500m with Japanese Keiichiro Nagashima, who won both golds at Heerenveen, having to settle for fourth and sixth.
