Alejandra Campoverdi

Alejandra Campoverdi underwent a preventative mastectomy after taking a genetic test and getting a positive result for the BRCA2 gene mutation. She later learned cancer was already growing in her breasts before they were removed. Ethan and Alejandra talk about their experiences with disease, self advocacy and healing through trauma as well as her work bringing genetic testing to people of color and underserved communities.
