Forbes magazine released yesterday its annual list of the highest-paid actors in the world. And guess what? It's the second time in running that Akshay Kumar has featured on the list. This year he ranks 6th in the list.
The magazine revealed that Akshay earned a total of Rs. 362 crore last year and most of that came from brand endorsements. This surely doesn't come as a surprise. Becasue apart from being one of the most commercially-reliable actors, Akshay is also the face of over 30 brands ranging from FMCG to luxury items.
A recent report claimed that the actor charges around Rs. 2 - 3 crore for each day of an ad shoot. As per a study of Duff & Phelps, Akshay Kumar’s brand value is estimated at Rs 742 crore or $104.5 m.
