Mr. Joseph Biden, a retired produce merchant, died yesterday afternoon at his home, No. 1829 West Lombard street after a lingering illness. He became unconscious Saturday afternoon and never recovered. A widow and six children survive. They are Messrs. J. Lee Biden, George T. Biden, Harry M. Biden, Miss Ada May Biden, Miss Emma J. Biden and Miss Mary Elizabeth Biden. The deceased and his family were well known in West Baltimore, where they have lived for a long time. Mr. Biden, who was sixty-six years old, was born in Baltimore county, but came to this city twenty-five years ago. He was a member of Fayette Street M. E. Church.
