One "Auto de Linha" that is used by the ABPF (Associação Brasileira de Preservação Ferroviaria/Brazilian Association of Railroad Preservation) to do the maintenance of the tourist line of the tourist express "Trem das Aguas" (The Water's Train) that run between the cities of São Lourenço da Serra and Soledade de Minas (in the state of Minas Gerais), this "Auto de Linha" (that's a motorized car built only to transport railroad workers) belonged to the RFFSA (Rede Ferroviaria Federal Sociedade Anonima), one federal company that was extinct in the 90s, and operated in the SR-2 (Superintendencia-2/Superintendence-2) also know as the "Regional Belo Horizonte" that was the subdivision of the RFFSA that managed the railroads near the city of Belo Horizonte (Capital of the state of Minas Gerais).

me too. sort of. there are clubs who restore then and ride around abondond brach lines. railfans in the u.s. call them speeders. people who work for the railroad in the u.s. call them motor cars. in europe they call them drasnes. i've ridden them several times when that year i worked for the railroad my self, back in 72/73. i like the way this one looks and i'm glad they have it in condition to actually use. could use a coat of paint though.
