Friends reruns are like time capsules from the '90s, between their baby tees, Ross's rock-hard hair gel, and the landlines (really, cell phones would've ruined the series; people could've just Googled "phalanges"). And while Jennifer Aniston's Rachel cut was iconic, it dated quickly—the cut everyone and their entire group of friends shared is instantly, recognizably of an era. No shade, Jennifer made all 8,000 layers look incredible. Now Bella Hadid is doing the same for a new generation, with a shag haircut that's literally the Rachel 2.0. And holy crap, it looks amazing.
Bella's been going steadily shorter over the past few months, from long, Old Hollywood-esque waves to the collarbone-length bob Pat McGrath turned gold for a hot second. The lob looked so good on her that we weren't expecting a major hair change anytime soon, but bam, today photos surfaced of Bella walking down the street looking straight out of Friends season one. And unlike Gigi's pixie, this is not a drill.
She looks so good! The cut is about two inches shorter than her previous 'do, with an abundance of all-over layers that fall prettily down her neck (classic Rachel). This video has the layers in motion; get ready for your eyes to bug out.

If she puts it up in a scrunchie, that's it; it'll all be over. The '90s throwbacks will have converged, and who knows what will happen next. Honestly though, this is a thrilling development. And if she needs any grow-out tips, Bella has literally nine seasons of a time line to work from.
