Diane herself Instagrammed a shot of the new hair last night, saying, "And here we go! How do you like my new strawberry hair?! #makingmovies #Sky # CriticsChoiceAwards." So it sounds like the hair color change is for a role—but as always, we love to sample new shades on our favorite actresses, regardless of the motivation behind the aesthetic shift.
So, my answer to Diane's question is clearly: LOVE. Ultimately I think her usual blond probably suits her the best, but this is such a lush and unusual shade to mix things up with for a while.
