If you've spent any time on this blog, you know I'm obsessed with The Rachel Zoe Project and that Susan and I are pretty much in heated competition over who can casually employ more of her phrases in everyday parlance. Here's my golden opportunity to use a Zoe classic!
In the show's first episode, the Zoe has one of her clients, Joy Bryant, over to try on dresses for a red carpet event. When Joy emerges from the dressing room in a red Zac Posen ruffled number, Rachel pretty much loses it in a way that only a true fashion person can, and emphatically, passionately, genuinely says, "Joy you are shutting it down in that dress. Like, shutting it down." Yes, shutting it down is a good thing. And it's my favorite phrase of maybe, um, all time.
So when I caught site of this picture this morning, I gasped. There was Joy, shutting it down in a printed minidress and a sleek ponytail! As the Zoe would say, "I die." Do you die? Vote now! And then get the look for less...
What do you think of Joy Bryant's look?
