Carrie Underwood may have lost out on one of the most coveted awards in country music, but she seems to be doing just fine.

Fans of the Grammy Award winner were angered after seeing her lose the iconic Entertainer of the Year prize at the 2023 CMA Awards. Although hopes for this year were high, Carrie lost out to Yellowstone star Lainey Wilson, who garnered five wins on November 8. But ahead of the big night, Carrie seemingly appeared unfazed by what the results would be, as she spoke out on Instagram about upcoming shows in her Reflection residency at the Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas.

"3 weeks until #REFLECTION @resortsworldtheatre!" she captioned a montage of her singing onstage. "Nov 29 πŸ’Ž. Dec 1-16 πŸ’Ž. And don’t forget we have added more dates in 2024! March 6 - 16πŸ’Ž. May 22 - 31 πŸ’Ž. June 1πŸ’Ž. August 14 - 24πŸ’Ž."

Although the American Idol season 4 winner didn't give any response about not winning the Entertainer of the Year award online, her fans ran to the comments to back her up over the surprise loss. What's more, they made sure to let her know how much her music is appreciated in their eyes.

"That’s my EOTY right there. πŸ™Œ," one person declared on Instagram. "My entertainer of the year, every year 😍😍😍😍," another wrote. "Am absolutely speechless as to why Carrie was SNUBBED once again by the CMA’s!! Are you kidding me???????? You will always be my EOTY!!! ❀️," a different follower added.

The news of Carrie losing the Entertainer of the Year award to Lainey came after Luke Combs scored the iconic trophy in 2021 and 2022. Additionally, fans didn't see her walk the red carpet at the ceremony as she skipped out to continue rehearsing for her residency.

Thankfully, she's not letting one award stop her from doing what she loves!
