Bernie Sanders visited President Obama at the White House this week to talk about the election and the future of America. Sanders came away from the meeting vowing to work with Hillary Clinton to defeat Trump, though he seems to have no intention of leaving the race. Sanders and Obama were photographed walking through the Colonnade and laughing, having a grand old time.
Sure, we want to know what Obama said to Sanders about the race...but what about the real question? What are Sanders and Obama laughing about?
OBAMA: So then I said to Malia, "You know, I bet Trump's taking interns during your gap year."
SANDERS: LMAO.
OBAMA: She was not happy with my suggestion.
SANDERS: Didn't you hear? I already dropped out of the race.
OBAMA: But I...
SANDERS: Just kidding. I'm never dropping out. Even after someone's elected!
OBAMA: You know you have to wear sunscreen in the summer...
BERNIE: Don't do this.
OBAMA: ...or else you'll get Berned.
BERNIE: My campaign is really not doing great.
OBAMA: Knock knock.
BERNIE: Who's there?
OBAMA: Hillary’s e-mails.
BERNIE: Stahhhhhhp.
OBAMA: So I saw Trump's tweet and was furious...but it did make me hungry for a taco salad.
BERNIE: Did you get it?
OBAMA: I'm the president. Yes!
OBAMA: What do you say we shoot some hoops after this?
BERNIE: I am 74 years old and would disintegrate into dust.
OBAMA: Wait, how old is Donald Trump?
BERNIE: Let's see. He was born June 14, 1946. So...69?
OBAMA: Nice.
OBAMA: You know, you can always give some speeches and make some extra money...
BERNIE: Let us wage a moral and political war against the billionaires and corporate leaders, on Wall Street and elsewhere, whose policies and greed are destroying the middle class of America.
