My Journey

16 years ago, things magically aligned for me to embark on a new journey. With the creation of harmonic space, I had turned a life-long passion into my full-time profession and have been working as a classical feng shui practitioner since.

When I was a child, I could see the energy of the land and loved drawing houses. At the age of 4 my family moved into in a large apartment complex and I saw herds of cows moving through the entrance hall of the building. Some years later I found out that prior to the construction of the apartment blocks there used to be a leather factory. It was around that time when I began to understand that the land absorbs and retains the energy of its history even when the building itself is no longer there.

While I also loved to play with Monchichis and roller skating by the river, I have always had a deeper spiritual interest in properties. Perhaps, this is a trait I inherited from my grandmother who was very dedicated in her feng shui practices.

My parents emigrated to Germany in the late 60’s where I was born in 1972 and spent most of my life. I never actually lived in Japan which is the country of my ancestral origin. I went to University in Frankfurt to major in Archaeology and American Studies but had to discontinue due to health challenges. After a long recovery period I was in a situation where I had to earn and began to work for Japan Airlines where I stayed for 15 years.

Since my earliest childhood I have had reoccurring autoimmune health challenges which put me on a constant journey of return to well-being. I needed to focus on a variety of healing systems, such as a combination of allopathic and alternative medicine, as well as energy and spiritual healing in order to recover from conditions regarded as incurable in conventional medicine.

But there was more to it. I couldn’t truly experience a full recovery when the immediate surrounding was not supporting the healing process. I am not only referring to socioeconomic and lifestyle factors but pointing to a healthy and sustainable living space which is key to all positive dynamic movements.

Sleeping in the right room and the bed position were crucial for maintaining health and achieve a successful recovery because land and properties provide a universal vital force which is life sustaining. We depend on a healthy and sustainable living environment to thrive.

In all the properties I analysed during the past 16 years, I could always see how the feng shui situation mirrors the resident’s life. For example, singles are drawn to properties which do not support spouse energies, businesses which do very well have strong financial aspects in their feng shui constellation and the ability to make the most out of opportunities, and health issues are often reflected in the structure of a place. In the end it is not so much about activating auspicious energies but containing the energy to increase the capacity to meet opportunities in the best possible way.

Most feng shui related problems arise from a misalignment of structure, layout, location, or a mismatch between the occupant and property energy and not so much from a space clearing issue. So, the only truly effective recommendations are related to structural changes or a relocation. For this reason, I became a big supporter of property selection consultations prior to buying and renting. I even feel it is the most important aspect in a feng shui consultation because it deals with the physicality of a place.

This led me to the next step on my journey where I began to focus more on geopathic stress and the alignment of occupants with their properties to increase harmonies where structures cannot be changed or a relocation is not possible. I started to work kinesiological with a place and using vortex technology while addressing life patterns which may be amplified by the structure of a place. Deep inside we know the answer to everything. Sometimes it just requires a little uncovering.

I have been extensively trained in classical feng shui and interdisciplinary fields such as BaZi Astrology, urban planning, I-Ching, and auspicious date selection, space clearing, home alignment and take them into consideration when appropriate. It is a fascinating and most rewarding life-long learning journey for me.

Today, I live with my family in a small town near Düsseldorf, Germany. Apart from on-site projects I offer remote consultations through video calls which is not only time and cost efficient but also more sustainable whilst allowing me to work with clients from any part of the world.

I am also pleased with clients taking an active part in remote consultations which is to their own benefit and adds to the experience. On a call, I ask my clients to take on-site compass measurements under my guidance, or sometimes request to draw a floor plan by hand, or showing me the property on a call etc. Every consultation is different and requires individualised attention but I very much appreciate and enjoy this rather new way of working which I developed for myself over the past several years. I have done several hundred remote healing and consultation sessions applying different bridging techniques which allow me to connect on a deeper level.
