Leave it to Salma Hayek to steal the show at the Oscars after-party.
Following the 96th Academy Awards ceremony, the actor delivered a bold red-carpet fashion statement at Vanity Fair’s annual after-party. She opted for an incredible sequined Gucci look: a long-sleeved, one-shoulder gown covered in molten silver sequins. She paired the piece with glittery silver chandelier earrings.
At last year’s Oscars, Hayek also repped Gucci, in a halterneck gown covered in metallic blood-orange sequins and fringe. At the time, her daughter, Valentina Paloma Pinault, accompanied her on the carpet. The teen wore a strapless red velvet Isaac Mizrahi gown—the same piece Hayek wore to the the 1997 Fire & Ice Ball.
The House of Gucci star, who is married to Kering CEO and chairman François-Henri Pinault, frequently taps Gucci for some of her highest-profile appearances.
For instance, she turned up at the 2023 Met Gala in a crimson ball gown designed by the Italian fashion house, featuring a glossy corseted ball gown, a tiered ruffle skirt, a see-through lace underlay, and four-strand pearl off-the-shoulder straps.
More recently, Hayek and Pinault sat front row at Gucci’s Fall/Winter 2024 runway show in February for Milan Fashion Week. At the time, she again showed out in a nearly all-red look, this one composed of a shiny maroon jacket, a burgundy pencil skirt, coordinating platform heels, and a ruby leather bag.
