Timer has no instructions
The timer has no instructions. My guess is that it's like this one timer wreath at Costco where the lights stays on 6 hours and off for 18 hours then repeats the day the next day until you turn off the timer. It's beautiful, just not user friendly.
No Timer Instructions
Basically echoing what "Anonymous" said! There is NOTHING to tell you what the timer does; how to use it; anything! Bought three to frame our front door entryway, and will figure out the timer by trial & error method.

It's peefect. Timer was easy to figure out.
Perfect lighted garland with a timer
Click the on off button once and turns on. Click a second time and it activates the timer. (Stays lit for 6 hours and turns off for 18 then turns on again etc) click a third time and it turns off!
Voila perfect kitchen garland!
One use wonder
I bought 7 of these last year. Loved them. Took them out to put up again this year, only 3 work. 3 will only turn on the first light next to the battery pack and 1 lights up only half the strand. Very disappointed. Very expensive one use wonder.
Dud garland
I think I got this for half off because someone probably returned it last year. The lights stay on for about 7 seconds and then off for 3 seconds. They keep flickering and it’s annoying. Wish I could return it but I already threw away the tag
Great for price
Going on year 2, timer is easy, one tap on, 2 tap timer, 3 off, works great for stairwells and doorframes with no nearby outlet. For 20$ for a battery lit garland, it's a steal
