All of the stars stepped out for the premiere of Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker last night before it hits theaters on Friday, and among them were a duo almost as adorable as Baby Yoda himself: Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott.
The recently Instagram-official couple attended the red carpet event (or blue carpet, in this case) in Los Angeles alongside Jonathan's twin brother and Property Brothers co-host Drew Scott and his wife Linda Phan. Sounds like the right way to spend a double date night, if you ask me. Before watching the highly anticipated film, the group posed for a photo outside of the El Capitan Theater. Talk about a Kodak moment!
Fittingly, Jonathan rocked a Star Wars-themed ugly Christmas sweater with Darth Vader’s face on it. He wore it underneath a blazer—you know, to dress it up a little—with jeans and brown shoes. Deschanel wore a bright lavender mini dress with subtle fishnet tights and a gold purse.
This doesn’t mark the couple's first double date with Drew and Phan, though. In October, they all attended Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights together.
This Star Wars outing marks Jonathan and Deschanel's first red carpet appearance together. It comes after Deschanel recently brought Jonathan on stage for the kick-off of her tour as a part of music duo She & Him. The couple met while filming Carpool Karaoke back in August, and it seems as though they've been inseparable since. Their relationship is really heating up, and we stan.
