Eva Longoria Test-Drove the Exposed Bra Trend on the Red Carpet

Think what you want about the exposed bra trend — whether that be controversial, chic, or simply just a craze. Because, no matter your opinion, A-listers simply won't stop wearing the risqué style. Just look at Eva Longoria, who unabashedly embraced the trend on the red carpet at the 2024 BAFTA Tea Party in Beverly Hills on Saturday. 

Rather than going for a layered look with her bra emerging ever-so-slightly from the neckline of her dress à la Sydney Sweeney and Scarlett Johansson at Cannes, Longoria, instead, put her lingerie on full view while wearing a sheer black button-down with a matching strapless bralette underneath. She tucked her shirt into a pleated black silk midi skirt with see-through lace paneling and floral detailing on the waistband, and accessorized with a smattering of diamond rings and mesh black pumps. 

Beauty-wise, Eva combined her dark smoky eyes with a pink lip and pulled her brunette hair back into a side-swept updo. 

Earlier that same day, Longoria wore another sheer look for a celebratory brunch — hosted by actress Ariana DeBose — in honor of her directorial debut of Flamin' Hot. However, this time her undergarments were fully concealed beneath a nude, figure-hugging gown that featured a mock neckline, ruching at the bust, and an artful geometric pattern. Letting the dress speak for itself, Eva accessorized minimally, adding only a pair of chunky gold hoops and brown pointed-toe heels to the mix.
