I had a blast creating this 3D hand-painted game art! It was enjoyable imagining how the art style would translate into a real game. Based on an illustration by nuomi0231. For more details and a 360º Marmoset Viewer, you can check out the complete piece through the Artstation link, allowing you to check out the whole piece from various angles! https://lnkd.in/dfriWrrJ #3dhandpainted #stylizedart #stylized3d #lowpoly #gameart #3dart

Our student Deniz Gür recently acquired new skills after attending the lecture 'The Cost of Historical Accuracy' presented by Thomas Feichtmeir from Pixel Arts during the Game Industry Conference - here are some of the insights: 1. Historical games are inherently political. 2. Religion can be a sensitive subject, and many games avoid it, despite its historical significance. 3. Be prepared for marketing challenges related to historical realism; it may face criticism within the community. 4. High expectations for art style are common in historically accurate games. 5. Generic assets from stores will not meet your needs. These and many more eye-opening pieces of advice have been added to Deniz's toolbox. Thank you, Game Industry Conference! #gamedev #gamedesign #gameartist #historicalgames

The Lieberstein Living Museum #RPG is now live on Itch.io! Check it out of you're a fan of Tabletop games, #history, #museums, or anything involving the past! This game was designed to be educational in nature, and can be customized to fit whatever goals you are trying to teach. It was also created to be a simple, "entry-level" RPG for anyone who has wanted to get into the genre but doesn't know where to start. https://lnkd.in/gXx9BAED

Hi everyone! I just finished my "Introduction to Houdini FX" course at the CG Spectrum institution. I want to say thank you to my mentors, Ben Fox and Daniel Hourigan for guiding me throughout the journey. I learned a lot about the foundations of creating particles, rigid body dynamics, fluid, and pyro simulations for film and television in this course. I cannot wait to use the things that I learned to create more artwork in the future! #vfx #houdini #houdinifx #nuke #simulation #particlefx #rbd #flip #pyro #film #movie
