Japan's 23-man roster to play at the World Cup has been revealed. Shinji Kagawa is among the hottest names on the list.

With each passing day, more and more squads have started to release their World Cup squad selections to the public.

Countries like Ghana, Germany, and the United States still haven't trimmed their squad down to 23, while Korea already has their group all squared away for this June.

And now, Japan has joined that list, with former Serie A boss and current national team coach Alberto Zaccheroni announcing who he'll be taking to Brazil.

The 2002 World Cup co-hosts have been grouped with the Ivory Coast, Colombia, and Greece, which appears to be a potentially tricky group with the biggest threats by far being Didier Drogba's Ivory Coast and Radamel Falcao's Colombia.

This will be the fifth consecutive tournament for the Samurai Blue, and the team will be counting on the trio of Keisuke Honda, Shinji Kagawa, Yuto Nagatomo who ply their trades with Milan, Manchester United, and Inter respectively.

Japan have never made it past the round of 16, which they did in 2002 and again in 2010
