Lesser Calamint is a small-flowered, unpretentious mint with an intense scent. Its natural habitat spreads from Central Europe to Asia and it grows wild on meager soils and in rocky areas in warm and temperate climates. From the leaves and flowers, whose smell reminds of mint and oregano, a delicious tea can be brewed. It is also suitable as a fresh herb for seasoning dishes. The plant is carefree and perennial.
