The spring of 2022 was not a happy time for Amber Heard, as she was engaged in and lost a very public defamation trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp.
After various personal details about Amber Heard's life were made public during that trial, she has since stepped away from the spotlight and has moved to Spain to spend time in Madrid and in Mallorca.
"I love Spain so much, I hope I can get to stay here as I love living here," she recently told reporters at the entrance to her Madrid home.
Details of Amber Heard's life in Spain
Now, more details have emerged about the 37-year-old actress' life in Spain, with the Daily Mirror reporting that she has a home in Costitx in Mallorca, a property worth three million euros.
"She fits in with everyone else and buys fruits and vegetables here," the owner of the local grocery store told El Mundo.
"She can speak Spanish, doing so with a Mexican accent, and she is always very polite and wishes people a good morning. And, everyone here treats her like normal."
Amber Heard's latest movie
There haven't been any new Amber Heard movies since the Johnny Depp trial, as her most recent feature film was the 2021 movie 'Zack Snyder's Justice League', in which she played Mera.
But, Amber Heard does have two new movies coming up. One is 'In the Fire', a supernatural thriller which will premiere at the Taormina Film Festival on Saturday, June 24.
In it, the actress plays Grace Burnham, a psychiatrist who tries to help a struggling child.
The other upcoming Amber Heard movie is 'Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom', when she'll reprise her role as Mera.
For a while, there were doubts over whether or not she'd be allowed to return to that franchise, but ultimately she has been confirmed as a member of the cast.
