After his departure from Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo is a free agent and can sign with any team in the world. And one of them has already put a juicy offer on the table: Al Nassr, from Saudi Arabia, is offering him a three-year, $225 million contract.
Al Nassr has had its eye on him for some time, along with other clubs in the Middle East. According to information from CBS, Al Nassr's interest extends beyond the Qatar World Cup.
He would earn 75 million per season
Sources close to Al Nassr say that after the World Cup is over they will approach CR7, as their interest is "stronger than ever" and they are open to paying him $75 million per season, plus he will be able to play at least until he is 40 years old. Cristiano is currently 37 years old.
According to the information, the talks are very advanced since they began in the summer and they are only waiting for his response. If he accepts, the deal would be closed in a matter of days.
He would be going to one of the most successful clubs in Arabia
With nine league titles, Al Nassr is one of the most successful and respected teams in Saudi Arabia, with Al Hilal as its great rival, which has also allegedly made an offer to CR7, although no further details of the offer have been released.
In his final months with Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo was relegated to a bit-part role, with little involvement in recent games and a poor relationship with Man-U manager Erik ten Hag.
