Love Island’s Rachel Christie branded ex-boyfriend David McIntosh a “vile monster”.

But, despite her pretty strong feelings towards him, the reality beauty has insisted that she would still be supportive if he wanted to be part of their four-year-old son’s life.

“After everything, I would never consider stopping David from seeing our son - if he wanted to,” she exclusively told Mirror Online. “I never have and I never would.

“I honestly have no idea if he was watching me on Love Island. I haven’t a clue what is going on with him.”

After splitting from David some years ago - shortly before he started dating Kelly Brook, their break-up turned so nasty that she was granted a non-molestation order against him.

“He accused me of things that were completely untrue, but he's so powerful that he made me believe what he was accusing me of was true. He posted something about me on my Facebook page. And he smashed my phone up.

“He's a manipulative and deceitful liar. He's a monster!”

Rachel spoke to Mirror Online after being booted out of Love Island on Monday.

Despite not making it very far in the competition, the single parent admitted she wasn’t sad to leave so the series so early.

“If I had stayed any longer, I would have been miserable – I was missing my son,” she added.

Love Island is on ITV2, all this week at 9pm.
