Throughout its approximately 150-year history, the lumber-era building has been a hotel, restaurant, private museum featuring tens of thousands of artifacts, and a “second home” to members of nearby Pit & Balcony Theatre, another Saginaw landmark. As with many historic buildings, some people also believe the Schuch is haunted.
