Theo Kandel has released Volume 3 of his project, ‘Love & Other Complaints’ – a series of two-song releases, each with stylistic differences. He has moved through ‘electro-folk’ and ‘roots-folk’ vibes and here he take things up a notch into indie-pop territory.
New York born and bred, Theo has been writing and performing since he was 18 years old but following a place at Vanderbilt University, he has now settled in Nashville and is pursuing his music career with great determination.
An East coast tour in February, culminated in a sold-out show at The Bowery Electric in NYC and plans to return to the circuit are underway when restrictions allow. Theo says that Love & Other Complaints, Vol. 3 is about finding some positivity in a time of relative darkness … “I wanted to figure out ways to make my sad thoughts happy again.”
