Kate del Castillo to sit down with Diane Sawyer for first on-air interview since El Chapo incident

Mexican bombshell Kate del Castillo will open up to ABC's Diane Sawyer about her time with infamous drug boss Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman.

"Today I believe more in El Chapo Guzman than in the Governments that hide painful truths: Those who hide the cure for AIDS and cancer for their own benefit and to become richer," Kate del Castillo said in a Tweet that first captured the drug lord's eye back in 2012.

Del Castillo stepped out of the fictional drug-trafficker roles she played on TV and got involved in the real world of drug capos, after Sean Penn credited her with setting up a secret meeting with the world?s most-wanted drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman.
