Love is in the air at the Academy Awards.

Married stars Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem and engaged actors Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons were each nominated for Oscars on Tuesday.

Cruz and Bardem, who wed in 2010, join an exclusive list featuring just five other married couples who received nominations in acting categories in the same year, according to CNN.

The others include Frank Sinatra, who won best supporting actor for “From Here to Eternity,” and Ava Gardner, who was nominated for best actress for “Mogambo,” in 1954. Elizabeth Taylor, meanwhile, won best actress for “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” in 1967, while husband Richard Burton was nominated for best actor for his performance in the film.

The 47-year-old Cruz’s best actress nomination on Tuesday came for the Spanish thriller “Parallel Mothers,” in which she plays a single mom grappling with a major secret.

Bardem, 52, earned a best actor nod for his “Being the Ricardos” portrayal of bandleader and sitcom star Desi Arnaz.

Plemons and Dunst, who got engaged in 2017, are nominated in the supporting acting categories for their co-starring roles in “The Power of the Dog,” a Montana-set Western about a callous cattle rancher.

The 33-year-old Plemons and 39-year-old Dunst play a couple in the film.

“To be honored by the Academy is a truly humbling experience,” Dunst said Tuesday following her nomination. “For both Jesse and I to get our first nominations together is beyond our wildest dreams.”

Directed by Jane Campion, “The Power of the Dog” leads all films with 12 nominations at next month’s Oscars ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
