Videotape taken inside the club showed her and Mr. Williams — who the police said had met at a mutual friend’s home on May 28 — together on May 29 and the early hours of May 30, said Lt. The police in New York and Miami said that the suspect, Kendrick L. Williams, was found reclining and asleep in a Nissan Maxima parked at the Canarsie Pier in Brooklyn at 8 a.m. He was charged with second-degree murder, the Miami-Dade Police Department said. Her father, Steve Henry, stayed in Brooklyn to work as a rail car technician and look after Shola.

"This is totally out of the norm for her behavior. She's very close with her family, getting ready for law school," O'Brien said. In Brooklyn, Stepha Henry's life awaits her. She will turn 23 later this month.
