I am a huge fan of "Fight Club" movie. This is one of my favorite movies. Fight Club is a 1999 American psychological thriller film directed by David Fincher and starring Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, and Helena Bonham Carter. It is based on the 1996 novel of the same name by Chuck Palahniuk. Norton plays the unnamed narrator, who is discontented with his white-collar job. He forms a "fight club" with soap salesman Tyler Durden (Pitt), and becomes embroiled in a relationship with him and a destitute woman, Marla Singer (Bonham Carter). In this art I tried to show a portrait of real Tyler Durden. His pain. His disappointment. His depression. His fight.

Anton Galkin is the artist from Moscow, also known as GALKU$H. The bright representative of MTV generation. Having begun his career at school, he started creating and drawing comics about super heroes. In 2008 he entered the Moscow Art School №7, where he studied fine arts. During his studies he often participated in contests and festivals, afterwards his works were exhibited and selected for private collections. He had considerable success in the visual arts, but deep down he despised academic painting and wanted to implement his own creative view. In 2012 he with honors graduated from Moscow Art School. After graduation, he actively began to experiment with style and to translate his ideas into reality. GALKU$H is a blend of bright saturated colors, contrast, abstract elements, madness of perception, anarchy of self-expression, symbolism and aesthetics. In his paintings, one can see the influence of Vincent van Gogh's expressionism, Salvador Dali's surrealism, Jean-Michel Basquiat's neo-expressionism and Voka's spontaneous realism, which mixes into a sparkling psychedelic cocktail. In his works, the artist seeks not as much to reflect reality, as to the express the emotional state. This is a frank statement that reveals an artist’s self-portrait, in which the principle of expression prevails over the image. The beauty, problems and contradictions of life, that breed anxiety, obsession and frustration, are transmitted by using angular, distorted lines, short and rough strokes along with flashy color. The preference is given to extremely contrasting colors in order to enhance the effect on the viewer and not to leave him indifferent.
