The first images from the Amazon series, "Z: The Beginning of Everything," have been released days before the show premieres on the streaming service and give a brief glimpse of the Savannah connection in the show.

The series, which stars Christina Ricci as novelist Zelda Fitzgerald, shot its pilot in Savannah in 2014 before returning last summer to film various scenes for the rest of the season downtown. The show follows Fitzgerald's life in the Jazz Age of the 1920s and her relationship with her husband, famed author F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Most of the filming happened last June when the show filmed portions of the series at the intersection of Jones and Barnard with additional filming happening at Monterey Square. The interior scenes of the series were filmed in New York.

The series premieres in full on Amazon on January 27, but the pilot is available now to view for Prime members.
