It was a family affair at the Room To Grow Gala in NYC on October 25 when Uma Thurman stepped out with daughter Maya Hawke in twinning outfits that had us doing double takes.
The Pulp Fiction actress was on co-chair duties for the evening and was supported by her 25-year-old daughter who she shares with ex-husband Ethan Hawke.
Thurman, 53, styled a long black gown with a caped jacket, a sparkling diamond brooch, diamond earrings and a plain black clutch. Hawke opted for a smart two-piece with a collarless jacket and wide leg pants.
Hawke has been following in her famous parents’ footsteps by breaking into acting with roles in Stranger Things, Asteroid City and Do Revenge so we love to see the family supporting one another on their ventures.
While at the event, which aims to support families living in low-income circumstances in New York and Boston, Thurman gushed about her close bond with her daughter.
“What isn’t a mother-daughter bond?” she told People. “Good communication. That is a big challenge, to make sure we keep communication healthy, strong, and open with your family.”
