Brr, it’s cold in here — there must be some Shady Baby in the atmosphere! If you just sing-read that line from Bring It On, then this is for you: Gabrielle Union (aka, Clovers cheerleader Isis from the hit 2000 movie) just shared a video of her 5-year-old daughter Kaavia James recreating her cheer routine. From the outfit to the sass, the resemblance is uncanny. Watch out Union, Kaavia might be coming for your cuteness trophy!
“Who did it best? 😂 Bring It On: Kaav’s Version (2024),” a video posted to Kaavia’s Instagram account (run by her parents Union and Dwyane Wade) was captioned. It begins with a flashback from Bring It On, where Union wears a cropped gray hoodie with jeans as she walks at a football stadium. Then, the camera cuts to Kaavia, and oh my goodness is she cute.

Kaavia wears a mini version of her mom’s green, yellow, and orange cheerleader outfit, complete with a “Clovers” crop top and pleated skirt. Her long, braided hair is up in a matching green ponytail as Kaavia jumps on the trampoline. The video, set to the Bring It On soundtrack is the icing on the cake!
In another clip, Kaavia wears a red cheer uniform with pink pom-poms, reminiscent of Kirsten Dunst’s (aka, Toros cheerleader Torrance) RCH uniform in the movie. Another clip shows Union in her Clovers uniform, holding a baby Kaavia in a matching uniform on her hip.
At one point, a present-day Kaavia walks downstairs in her Clovers uniform, twisting her hips, spinning, and dancing like the cutest little cheerleader you’ve ever seen. It’s the best thing we’ve ever seen!
“Bring it on Pre-K edition I’m here for it! 🎉” one person joked. Another said, “You already know K James nailed it hands down 😂😂”

Maybe one day Union will do a reboot, and Kaavia can make an appearance! She previously told SheKnows, “There have been reboots and sequels of Bring It On, but not of the original cast, and that’s something that me and Kirsten [Dunst] and Peyton [Reed] are working on that I’m excited about. Like did those characters grow up to become Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders? Are they PTA moms together?”
“That would be a fun reboot to do — and perhaps will come true,” she added. Fingers crossed!
When Business Insider asked Union at SXSW Film & TV Festival this March, The Idea of You executive producer replied, “Who knows?” She added, “We may have something cooking, you know?”
If this was Kaavia’s audition tape to be a mini Clover, then she totally brought it!
