Taxicaller program has been a game changer

TaxiCaller has been great from the start our contact Jose Manuel Rodriguez has gone above and beyond anything that could be expected of one person.The customer service separates this company from any other company i have dealt with from the 24-hour support link for dispatchers with almost instant responses. Our account manager answers emails as soon as he gets them usually and has even helped while on vacation.Jose is always listening to suggestions and trying to implement everything we need. The software itself is quick responsive The onboarding process was great the help they provided every step of the way was above anything we received in the past by any other company and was FREE!! This is the first time we have experienced this as usually other companies has charged us thousands of dollars for onboarding.This is also the first time that a company was so confident in their product they don't require a contract.I can't stress enough how great this company has been and how much more efficient we are because of this software.The pricing of the software was a little bit more expensive but the change has saved us thousands in other areas of our business making this an easy choice

PROS

The quick and responsive interaction with the software, the ability to pull up history, the GPS replay has been great and easy to work.The GPS function is quick and accurate The system has so many options that it can be customized to how you need it.The account charge system is great and getting better and has cut our cost of invoicing by thousands per month

CONS

The only issue that i can comment on is the invoicing part needed some updating, I spoke to my contact with Taxicaller and he has notified me that before Christmas almost all of what i have requested will be implemented company wide.

Reasons for switching to TaxiCaller

Old system was glitchy and the down time was becoming an issue, They switched from Google to TOMTOM which did not have an accurate street name and was causing issues for drivers and dispatchers.The support was almost nonexistent it was hurting our business

JERSEY TAXIAPP.

PROS

There is so much to like about TaxiCaller's software, the whole system has been set up to keep you in complete control. The portal is the main hub of your mobile management system, from here you basically run your taxi operation, you can change settings for both the customers and drivers app, run accounts and send invoices, set up automatic messaging, create zones for your area, enter taxi tariffs to give fare estimations, run reports and replays of individual vehicle tracking, etc. There's also the live dispatch screen, this shows the drivers GPS locations plus information on all the current bookings and a history page of all the closed jobs, there's also a very helpful 24/7 live link if you need to call TaxiCaller, plus you can send messages straight to the driver's screens. all in all, it's a great system that is not overpriced.

CONS

There have been a few issues with the new user interface on the customer's app that we hope will soon be resolved! they include the following, the menu lacks a help button or any instructions to show customers how to use the app? The IT team also removed a couple of useful features that were on the old interface and hopefully they will be reinstalled soon, this includes the further information box, this was really useful as some customers want to notify the driver about any special requirements or if they want to add in any extra directions to find their location, we know this can be added to the address bar by using the pencil icon but most customers don't realise that it can be used for that purpose. They also did away with the flight details information box which used to appear when a customers put in a booking request to be picked up from airport arrival, the driver needs this info to check flight arrival times or for delays. TaxiCaller said they will take our suggestions into consideration and will hopefully fix these issues on any future upgrades.

Reason for choosing TaxiCaller

As a committee member of the Jersey Taxi Drivers Association that was established back in 1954, I was handed the responsibility of finding and launching a suitable cloud-based taxi app for our association members, one of our basic requirements was to find a taxi app that would dispatch taxi bookings automatically to the drivers without the need to go through a dispatch operator. After researching the market we decided to go with TaxiCaller because the company was well established with plenty of experience in the taxi app market, plus the App could be adapted to run completely automated. The sales team were also very helpful and answered all my initial questions, when we signed up TaxiCaller assigned a rep as our key account manager to help us through all the setup procedures and to prepare us for launch day of our new rebranded app called JERSEY TAXIAPP.Today I regard the rep more as a friend rather than just our account manager, his professionalism and experience was invaluable right from the outset, The rep not only understood all the workings of the app but he also knew lots about the taxi industry, this was an essential requirement as far as I was concerned, as all countries have different taxi regulations and the rep was keen to learn how our local taxi industry worked and to find out the way we operated, he was then able to advise me on which settings to make on the portal so that we could run the app to suit our needs.

Good package, modern interface, Easy to use

PROS

Taxi Caller is very modern and straightforward as compared to other taxi dispatching softwares. It is a all in one package with a lot of features on one screen. It is operated in browser so its easy to work remotely with this.

CONS

Sometimes it have some bugs and glitches and do not refresh automatically.

An easy-to-deploy, easy-to-use system run by people who still care about customer service

As a fleet of over 50 we've been lucky enough to be paired with a dedicated account manager. I can say that the people at Taxicaller take customer service seriously, understand the unique challenges of our business and even have some good suggestions to help counter the continuing uncertainty in the industry.

PROS

Taxicaller offers a plethora of functionality and customization. It's easy to find a way to not only utilize the sofware within your operation but leverage it to improve your operation. You can deploy it in a day if you like but they also offer a lot of guidance for fleets that may require it.

CONS

I really can't think of much. Any issues I've had with Taxicaller have been attended to promptly. And they take suggestions from customers seriously.

Reason for choosing TaxiCaller

The depth of knowledge about the product demonstrated by account manager made me instantly more comfortable with Taxicaller product. It was clear they were willing to invest the time to help guide my company through transition and help leverage the product as we progressed.

Happy With TaxiCaller

We have had it for about four years now and we are very happy with it. We have never had any technical issues at all. The customer service and support is excellent. Our rep [sensitive content hidden] is wonderful and he is always available for help.

PROS

The ease of use, the support and they are very good when it comes to customizing it for us.

CONS

Nothing really. Their tech team have been very helpful in adding and modifying many features according to our need.

Reasons for switching to TaxiCaller

The old system was inflexible, it kept crashing and their customer service was not up to the par.

The back end server is awesome. Its easier to locate the cars.

The updates take longer at times on UI for the passenger, Driver app also needs to be worked on
