  • In December 2013, Ida Maria danced around the stage at New York City's Mercury Lounge the way little girls dance when they think no one's watching. With a high pony tail hitting her in the forehead, Ida Maria hops around and sings along to echoing guitars. It's hard to tell if the back up band is subdued or simply just looks that way in comparison. Arguably her most well known hit is "I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked", and this song, "69" isn't much different.

    Fun, somewhat sexy, and not making much sense, Ida Maria is the kind of stuff you play when you just want to cut loose and have a good time. Promoting the newly released album, "Love Conquers All", Ida Maria had no trouble filling the venue with a crowd. If teeny bopper magazines had a market for Indie boys, they could be ripping out the centerfold photos of Ida's sexy-strange antics and plastering their walls. Ida Maria's performance could be energetic enough for the old iPod commercials or a human embodiment for the sorry not sorry hastags of Twitter. Ida Maria's performance makes you realize she is the kind of girl you wouldn't mind getting into trouble with.
