Two of the most reliable Nissan vehicles for the 2022 model year were the Nissan Rogue and the Nissan Altima. This information comes from the American nonprofit organization Consumer Reports. The organization is dedicated to product testing, investigative journalism, and consumer research. For 2022, Consumer Reports used consumer data to compile a list of the most reliable vehicles. While Nissan fared decently well, two of its vehicles, the Rogue and Altima, were at the top of the list. The Japanese automaker has been busy as of late with its electrification efforts. Its newly released 2023 Nissan Ariya has hit the markets, and there is supposedly an all-electric Nissan GT-R in the works. Consumer Reports dedicates itself to product testing, investigative journalism, and consumer research as a nonprofit organization. For its 2022 survey, it received data for over 300,000 vehicles. The organization compiled a list of the most reliable brands and cars after reading through the data. Although Nissan was far from the top of the ranking, two of its vehicles, the Rogue and Altima, managed to score very well in terms of reliability. 

The 2022 Nissan Rogue is a newly updated crossover SUV with improved efficiency and performance. The Rogue arrives with a 1.5L variable compression turbo engine that delivers 201 horsepower and 225lb-ft of torque. This three-cylinder engine provides 2022 Rogue owners with impressive performance and control. It also provides owners with excellent fuel economy offering 30 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. The crossover SUV features a continuously variable automatic transmission that pairs with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Starting at an MSRP of $27,150 (plus destination fee), the Nissan Rogue is a spacious crossover SUV with impressive capability and reliability.

The Nissan Altima recently received an update for the 2023 model year, but the 2022 model is just as impressive. The sedan arrives with a 2.5L four-cylinder engine that delivers 188 horsepower. The Altima also offers a more powerful, turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that delivers 248 horsepower. The 2.5L engine comes with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, while the turbo 2.0L engine comes with front-wheel drive. As for its fuel economy, the Nissan Altima gets 28 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway. The 2022 Nissan Altima starts at an MSRP of $24,900 (plus destination fee) and is an affordable mid-size sedan with impressive capability. Given both their features and specs, it’s clear why the 2022 Nissan Rogue and Nissan Altima were considered two of Nissan’s most reliable vehicles.
