If you’ve been asking yourself “OK, but should I get bangs?” lately, allow Vanessa Hudgens to sway you in the direction of “yes.”
On August 2, the actress and style star debuted a set of eyebrow-grazing bangs to go with her recently-cropped hair. The look may be short, but it’s got a lot of impact, given that Vanessa’s hairstylist Chad Wood gave her a textured bob with just enough mess to look perfectly undone. (That’s the actress’s signature, after all.) The bangs themselves are on the longer side, and full enough to cover her forehead if brushed forward. For this Instagram, however, Chad parted the bangs so that Vanessa’s ethereal highlight by makeup artist Karan Mitchell peeked through. In the words of Legally Blonde? Her hair is so now.
Perhaps the best part of the look involves the layers that Vanessa played with. Her bangs are short, while her bob is a little longer. Longer still, however, are her drop earrings, which graze her collar bone. As for the last layer? It’s her sweater, which she turned into an off-the-shoulder shrug for a vibe that screams "fall."
