Thing sure have changed since Whitney Port starred on The Hills. The reality TV star turned designer just announced via Instagram that she is expecting her first child with her husband, TV producer Tim Rosenman — yep, she and Lauren Conrad are going to be moms. (Audrina Patridge gave birth to baby Kirra last year.)
"Oh hey! Just standing by the window in my underwear, with a BABY in my belly!," she joyfully captioned a maternity photo, taken by photographer Cole Moser, on Instagram. "DM me if you know what I'm supposed to do with this thing for how ever many years I'm supposed to be in charge."
But she didn't stop with an Instagram — it is the way to announce a celeb pregnancy these days – as she shared more photos and wrote a blog post on her website about the news. She wrote, "When two people love each other so much and the love becomes too great to fit inside both people, it spills over into a THIRD person." According to Whitney, "This is how I am going to explain where babies come from to the little baby that is now growing inside my belly because Timmy and I are PREGNANT!"
She adds that her husband "and I were a bit shocked, but so excited to begin this journey. I’ll be posting some videos and pictures along the way, so you guys can be a part of everything. It’s been such an interesting and trying but amazing journey already."
Whitney has kept busy since her reality show days: She launched a fashion line, she served as a judge on the eighth cycle of Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model, she keeps her blog updated, and she's guest written for Brides. Though it's been a minute since Lauren and Whitney have reunited, we have a feeling that could change sometime soon. How are we all feeling about a Hills-themed joint baby shower?
