Twilight’s Jasper star looks completely unrecognizable over 10 years after final film
Actor Jackson Rathbone portrayed Jasper Hale in all five movies based on Stephanie Meyer's Twilight Saga, but fans might not recognize him if they pass him on the street nowadays.
Twilight star Jackson Rathbone is completely unrecognizable in his latest social media snaps.
He was best known for his role as Jasper Hale in the hit supernatural-romance franchise, based on the bestselling novels.
The actor and musician, 38, has since been keeping his fans up-to-date on Instagram and looks completely different over a decade after the final film.
He’s now sporting a dark beard and has apparently been keeping in shape with regular gym sessions.
Rathbone has also trimmed his hair back and kept it naturally dark, unlike the golden-haired Cullens.
In some of his posts, he’s also showing off an impressive tattoo collection around his arms and shoulders.
One of his most recent updates saw him poking fun at the Twilight films’ often-mocked ‘sparkly’ vampires.
Below two selfies he wrote: “The sunset is #albuquerque is just for me. Not for you. (I put an anti-sparkle filter on).”
For the films, Rathbone was given pale skin, golden eyes and long, honey-blonde locks, so it’s no surprise he looks rather different these days.

His character Jasper was the adopted brother of Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson) who lived with a large family of vampires in Forks.
He often struggled with his bloodlust due to his violent upbringing which was heightened when Edward started dating human teen Bella Swann (Kristen Stewart).
At the head of the family were their vampire parents Carlisle Cullen (Peter Facinelli) and Esme Cullen (Elizabeth Reaser).
Also rounding out the cast were Alice (Ashley Greene), Emmett (Kellan Lutz) and Rosalie (Nikki Reed).
The film saga came to an end in 2012 with Breaking Dawn: Part II, which pitted the vampires and werewolves against the evil Volturi.
Jasper will eventually return to screens - probably portrayed by a different actor - as Lionsgate Television recently confirmed a rebooted TV series is currently in the works.
