Jessica Simpson and husband Eric Johnson are ‘living separate lives’ in ‘rocky patch’ of marriage
JESSICA Simpson and her husband, Eric Johnson, are reportedly experiencing a rough patch in their marriage.
Reports surfaced this week, days after Jessica sparked rumors of marriage trouble on her social media.
The 43-year-old star and her former NFL player husband are apparently living separate lives, according to Radar Online.
The couple are coming up on 10 years of marriage this year but it seems there are some big differences between the pair.
"Eric has been doing his own thing for longer than anyone seems to know — well over a year now," a source revealed.
"He's been very vocal about how difficult it is to live with someone so obsessed with surgery and so detached from reality most of the time."

The source went on to say that Eric "still loves" Jessica and he doesn't want their children to grow up in a broken home.
The couple share Maxwell, 11, Ace, 10, and Birdie, 4.
The insider added that it's like "banging his head against a wall trying to reason with her spaced-out attitude toward life."
The duo are apparently living separate lives and "doing their own thing".

"Date nights have become more infrequent, though they did manage to book a dinner for Valentine's Day," the source added.
Fans spotted Jessica has not shared a photo of Eric on her social media since September.
They also noticed she hasn't been wearing her wedding ring in recent photos.
The Texas native was famously married to 98 Degrees boy band member Nick Lachey, 50, from 2002 to 2006.
SOBRIETY JOURNEY
Jessica has jumped through many hurdles over the years, one being her journey to sobriety.
In November, the mom of three celebrated six years of sobriety and shared a post to commemorate the milestone.
She reshared a prior 2021 post featuring a throwback pic of herself at one of her lowest points.
“This person in the early morning of Nov 1, 2017 is an unrecognizable version of myself. I had so much self-discovery to unlock and explore," Jessica explained in her caption.
“I knew in this very moment I would allow myself to take back my light, show victory over my internal battle of self-respect, and brave this world with piercing clarity.
"Personally, to do this I needed to stop drinking alcohol because it kept my mind and heart circling in the same direction and quite honestly I was exhausted."

The Dukes of Hazzard actress continued, "I wanted to feel the pain so I could carry it like a badge of honor. I wanted to live as a leader does and break cycles to advance forward- never looking back with regret and remorse over any choice I have made and would make for the rest of my time here within this beautiful world."
She added, "The drinking wasn’t the issue. I was. I didn’t love myself. I didn’t respect my own power."
