Episode 224 - Gibson Jimmy Page Les Paul Custom Black Beauty

Shortly after introducing the Les Paul, Gibson fielded a request from the man himself. Les Paul wanted a fancier version - “like a tuxedo”. And so it was that the Les Paul Custom “Black Beauty” came to be. In 1960, a young Jimmy Page picked up a Black Beauty, and it became his go-to for the next 10 years, until it was stolen on tour. Just a few short years ago, it was recovered. What a story! Enjoy!

Beverages!

Podcasting is thirsty work; it’s crucial that everyone involved stay hydrated. The following fine beverages contributed to the success of this episode: Ed went to Meeples Games in West Seattle. They've also got a cafe, and he bought coffee for the show. Tasty AF. Also, Ed went to the newly-opened Doughjoy Doughnuts, and got some vegan doughnuts. Wow!
