"She was falling on the way back or to the bathroom, I would have to pick her up and carry her to bed.

"She’s doing physical therapy to try and stand on her legs, but at the moment she cannot stand on her legs.

"They’re starting the treatment so they’ll see how it goes. So keep praying."

Often referred to as GBS, Guillain-Barré syndrome is known as a rare, autoimmune disorder in which a person's own immune system damages the nerves, causing muscle weakness and sometimes paralysis, according to the CDC.

Symptoms can reportedly last for a few weeks to several years and while most people fully recover, some have permanent nerve damage as a result.

Days later on January 18 of the same year, Jenna updated fans to let them know she was misdiagnosed and that she doesn't have GBS.

Bitton shared: "Just a little update, Jenna is still in the hospital. She doesn't have the Guillain-Barré syndrome.

"It was confirmed by the doctor after a second test and five rounds of IVIG, so she does not have the Guillain-Barré.

"We will keep you posted soon. She's not doing so well."
